Description
VDL introduces the Par Meter, a meter for photosynthetically active radiation. The PAR METER is designed to measure the PAR flux at wavelengths ranging from 400 to 700 nm. There is a proportional relationship between the number of photons absorbed in the 400 to 700 nm band and the rate of photosynthesis in plants, which is important for horticultural studies and monitoring plant physiology.
Its small size allows you to take measurements of your crops on site, without having to transport bulky or heavy equipment, and to know how much light energy your plants use for photosynthesis.
